Dear Sir,
I am writing in reference to a possible amendment to this year's Homeland Security funding bill that will potentially take hundreds of millions of dollars away from important things like port security, the Coast Guard, and disaster preparedness - REAL ID funding.
I ask you to oppose any and all REAL ID funding in the Homeland Security appropriations bill. The possibility of a REAL ID is a REAL issue for Americans who value their liberty and privacy.
We must not let the terrorists change the American way of life, that would only be a victory for Osama Bin Laden and others like him.
Thank you for your consideration

Real ID should not be funded. It will erode privacy, cause bureaucratic nightmares for drivers trying to renew their licenses, and impose huge costs on taxpayers without providing any significant security benefits. By the way, we're already plenty safe without all this fearmongering.

I am totally opposed to a national ID scheme. It is un-American and reminds me of the type of totalitarian state controlled government tactics utilized by Nazi Germany. I consider the REAL ID scheme to be an invasion of Americans' privacy rights.
Please oppose any and all REAL ID funding, for example, please oppose all REAL ID funding in the Homeland Security appropriations bill. Please support the Baucus-Tester and the Grassley-Baucus amendments to the current immigration bill, stripping REAL ID provisions from the bill.
REAL ID is real expensive, real stupid, and real evil.
This is America, not Communist China or Nazi Germany.
We must not let terrorists change American life as we know it any further.
Forcing National ID cards on our citizens would be a victory for Osama bin Laden.
Please do all you can to oppose any and all attempts to pass any type of REAL ID funding. Please help keep America free.
Thank you in advance for your patriotism and service to our country.

Please oppose any and all REAL ID funding! This is mark of the beast stuff, and I'll be forced to REFUSE if it really happens! All it will do is make life harder for the average, law-abiding, tax-paying citizen!
Sincerely,
Brad Rickard

I REJECT the real ID act. It is unamerican and down right evasive of my privacy. Protect my and everyone else in this countries freedom. Our civil liberties will disappear if we allow this. Slowy they will be striped away. Freedom isn't free!!!
"He also forced everyone, small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark of his right hand or on his forehead, so that no one could buy or sell unless he had the mark, which is the name of the beast or the number of his name." [Revelation 13:16-17]

Please oppose any and all Real ID funding the the Homeland Security appropriations bill. This reeks of a Big Brother policy and reminds me of Germany and Hitler. We do not want a National ID card. NO, NO, NO!

The real terrorists are all employed by the CIA and NSA. Google bin Laden and CIA - there are hundreds of articles about how bin Laden and other terrorists are either patsies or employees. The REAL ID is a power grab. You know: Papers Please, made famous in WWII movies. Who wants to know all this stuff? Why? This is so unamerican that you had better pull out all the stops to keep it from happening.
NO national id card. The license is bad enough as it is!
Thank you for opposing real id every chance you get!

"Real ID" is an idea that comes straight out of the scariest of evil government conspiracy sci-fi films.
It is a program born of paranoia and fear, and will only instigate more of the same. As a culture, we need to be focusing more on REAL connections between people, and communal practice, education & assurance that we are a people who can love, forgive, be compassionate, generous, and conscious of how we effect our environment, and world socitey. These principles are FAR MORE IMPORTANT to understand, implement, and practice within our society than allowing our government to give us numbers and the ability to monitor us (more than they already do).
PLEASE DO NOT OFFER ANY FUNDING AT ALL TO THE "REAL ID" PROGRAM. Having a driver's license, student ID, a social security card, and birth certificate or a Passport should be more than enough to identify any citizen of this, or any country, for any reason.
More time & energy should be spent on really taking a hard look at how the Patriot Act is flawed & causes more harm and inconvenience to US Citizens than good.

This bill is unconstitutional and frankly unamerican. It's a step toward a police controled stated which I do not want to be apart of. Our civil liberties are at risk not to mention the amount of money this is going to cost. It doesn't make sense I want this bill abolished.

Dear Senator,
I am not in favor of loosing any more of our freedoms under the guise of Homeland Security. You are now made to feel like an extremist if you don't go along with these expensive and ill thought out bills.. Please vote against this one!
Thank you,
Megan Edwards
